Top budget hotels (Taiwan WOW hostel ximending review)

Top Taipei Hostels

Me and my friends went on a backpacking trip to taiwan last summer and this is where we stayed in ximending
We were in a rush that i couldnt even take some photos b4 we left.

The place i recommend is

Wow ximending hostel

click on the link above for more details on the booking

It is a very hyped up place where many teenage and couple travellers stay mostly koreans, chinese, malaysians, Europeans. You get to interact with a lot of people.
The hostel are managed by young taiwanese who are friendly and very informative. We were at wits end about our trip plans but they are helpful enough to recommend where to go, where locals eat, and how to get there.
I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is lively. Even at night there are people sitting and chatting at the living room.

Ammenities:

Our beds are like dorm bunks but they have curtains that offer you privacy. Lockers are not enough to fit ur luggage but can fit ur laptops, priced goods fair enough. Its just beside ur bed.
Washer machine is provided (free washing powder). For the washer machine every wash is 50 twd. Theres also a separate dryer machine.
There is one socket (3 point plug) in your bunk.
Hairdryer and bathing shampoo and soap is provided. The hostel is the cleanest and well decorated.

Location:

Lastly, it is very strategic. It is in the middle of the ximending one of the liveliest tourist attrations. By walking you can reach the nearest intercity train. There are many shops downstairs such as, nike, kfc, sushi restaurants, food stalls and watsons (facemask are very cheap in taiwan). There are also perfomances in the square by young teenage performers.(Photos do not belong to me. They belong to their rightful owners.)

Every morning breakfast is free. You can prepare it yourself. Theres eggs, bread, jam, and ham. All day long freeflow coffee and tea is available.
The toilets are cleaned regularly. There is a hairdryer in every bathroom and a separate washroom. Be prepared in taiwan water hoses arent always available.
